Zero harm starts with identifying potential risks:
Asphyxiation: Interruption of breathing through lack of oxygen; suffocation.
Collapse or Sinking: Struck or crushed as a result of a structure or object collapsing, falling down or caving in.
Collision – Equipment: Vehicle or mobile equipment collision with another vehicle, mobile or stationary object.
Collision of Vessel: When two or more vessels that are in motion run into each other or strike a fixed object such as piers, wharves or jetties.
Crushed Between Objects: Crushed by or between objects, other than falling objects.
Drowning: Inhalation of a liquid or solid resulting in interruption of breathing.
Entanglement: Caught, trapped or entangled between 2 or more moving objects.
Exposure to CBRN: Exposure to a chemical, biological, radioactive or nuclear material either by:
1) Ingestion
2) Inhalation
3) Absorption
4) Injection
Exposure to Extreme Environmental Condition: People working in uncomfortably hot, cold or extreme environmental condition, e.g. Heat Stress and Cold Stress.
Fall or Drop of Person: Person falling or dropping from a higher to lower level.
Struck by Equipment: Pedestrian struck by vehicle or mobile equipment.
Struck by Falling/Dropped Objects: Struck or crushed by an object coming from above.
Uncontrolled Release of Energy: Uncontrolled release of energy, including: electrical, kinetic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fire, explosion.
Acts of Violence: Intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community.
