OUR FUTURE: THREE LEGACIES
‘Our Future’ looks beyond our business to address the lasting legacy we can create for our industry and society. Our vision for a better, more equitable world focuses on bringing positive change across the three legacy areas of Women, Education and Water.
Our aim is to invest in education to inspire and equip the future workforce to follow a career in logistics, this is aligned with our commitment to support the transformational trends in the logistics and trade industry as well as build the sector’s talent pipeline.
The trade and logistics industry are facing an annual skills shortage, particularly in the face of rapid technological development. With women representing a highly talented and skilled proportion of the workforce not being fully utilized, we are committed to increasing female representation to bring much needed skills and talent into the workforce. Since 2018, the program has mentored almost 1,000 of our female colleagues by mentors from across the DP World group.
As a global leader in logistics, we value healthy, sustainable, and vibrant oceans. We enable prosperity to flow around the globe through trade and have a crucial role in safeguarding ocean health, increasing access to clean water and hygiene, and protecting aquatic biodiversity.
